msp Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 yeah, interesting how even the small lakes can deliver some snow. i remember it was about LES from mille lacs and, more surprisingly, lake effect clouds off lake minnetonka reported at FCM and MSP. janetjanet998 Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 There most be a power plant of some kind in Extreme NW IND on lake michigan a couple of miles east of the IL/IND line...often there are returns coming from the little micro peninsula that jets out into the lake blowing downwind...
