buckeye
Time for the Klingon deathcry: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! So much potential wasted by a little change. if you're modelled a storm, let it go if it comes back to you, it is yours if it doesn't, it never was

SpartyOn
Dont know bout the rest of you , but Im not done YET with this potential. Gona hold out until Monday 0z. Nothing else to do! With a warm up coming and a transition in seasons on the doorstep things could "heat" up real fast. Just gota crush this pattern somehow..Hopefully the transition from a winter pattern to a spring pattern will usher in some good Apps runners or Cleveland cutters. BTW DC 70 ? Heres to an early Cherry Blossom bloom.

dilly84
I lied. Towel is thrown for Thursday lol (for you buckeye). But I am liking the potential with the Monday/Tuesday System. Yesterdays system was much stronger than what was modeled, as well as the little system coming across Northern IN. So here's to a stronger system tomorrow night. ukrocks
Still not giving up hope yet on this system. Hopefully the 00z runs throws a curve ball and gets us back in the game.
buckeye
I hear you - I will give up totally tomorrow. But - realize it isn't looking great. But - hey - stranger things have happened over the last few months in model land. if i lived in KY....and after seeing the nam.....i'd be weenie watching this one still pretty hard. SpartyOn
The warm-up should help break this pattern. Hopefully! As long as Im not reading " Nice hit MSP " at 1am. When a monster cutter swings waaaaay north.
dilly84
18z gfs upped it a bit for cmh. Went from .28 to .31 for me and cmh is now at .21. And now pit is up to .

Indystorm
lol I said I would hold out until Monday - but yeesh. Sigh. Seriously ready for spring. The 18z NAM says hello Florida Panhandle!!! I am seriously considering going somewhere warm next winter. Getting tired of winter. Really - I am. Seriously. I mean it this time. Giant City State Park Lodge has now opened for the new season. Time for spring t storms...Anyway, with a seasonal total of ninety inches plus already at nearby South Bend I am thinking of spring as well. Misty snow outside here now. By the way a winter storm watch for 4-8 inches has now been issued for OKC environs for Tues night and Wednesday. Winter doesn't want to give up. KokomoWX
I guess there are a few still in the game with the NAM at 84...
Hoosier
I guess there are a few still in the game with the NAM at 84... Confluence zone over the Lakes appears to be relaxed/shifted northeast a little on this run. Since phasing is pretty much off the table at this point, if you're on the northern side you have to hope that it keeps trending that way.

Madmaxweather
This stupid storm missing us may screw up our torch next weekend. Could it mess up JB's call for 80 in Dallas and 70 in DC? Thoughts? 00z GFS is saying not so fast with the warm up LOL
Madmaxweather
Careful, you are talking about the GFS. Underdone WAA and long range 500mb patterns as seen, can flip on a run. Yeah we will see. I am all for this warm up right now. 50's and 60's will be nice for a change...Weren't getting much out this current pattern so a change is very welcomed right now! ukrocks
Surprised nobody is watching this. I still think this could pose some more surprises. Don't ask me why I'm already tracking a snowstorm when I am at the tail end of a snowstorm.

ukrocks
NAM continues to hint at a .10-.25 inches of precip. With .25-.50 just 10 miles to my south. With good ratios that could be a 2-5 inch event.
Hoosier
18z NAM trending the wrong way now a bit stronger with the confluent zone. I'd be pretty close to writing this one off north of the Ohio River.
