WeSuck
What's with the palm in face?? We are loving this here! So is this a different system from the one the gfs has at 160+ hours?
Scarlet Pimpernel
What's with the palm in face?? We are loving this here! So is this a different system from the one the gfs has at 160+ hours? I do believe the facepalm is for the fact that areas to the south get a big snowstorm, we get the wide-right treatment as it misses us, then probably New England gets hammered? (At least, I gather that's the case, haven't heard what the Euro does with it after the storm hits south of here). Or, maybe it's just a way of saying "great, getting sucked in again!" Ji
the most impressive thing for me this winter has been being able to post with a 100% warning now for 3 weeks straight
WxUSAF
Euro shows a nice -NAO in the long range while the GFS looks way positive. Euro also has a nice ridge off the west coast while the GFS is totally flat.
kurtstack
Only a few minor adjustments and the GFS would be a blockbuster storm at around 168 hours. At least the euro and GFS have a storm. And there should be much more cold air available to work with. Definitely worth watching it evolve over the next few days.
