mattb65
BOS would sleet by 9:30-10:30. I said later. Not official sleet yet but I just opened my back door and can confirm pellets. Beats rain by a huge margin. Humongous snow pack sealed. Glad I shoveled the 3 inches over night dropped and cleared the plow crap earlier this morning. gotta go. CF should be over your head now or very soon, at least no ZR for us in the immediate boston area.

MarkO
Looks like I have about a 33-34" depth, looking out at the Yard stick. I put my yard stick where the depth was 1" below average (during last weeks storm), the snowpack receeded from a high of 27" to 22" and hit 29" last night. Currently at 32" and hoping I can get a full "yard" out of it today. Possible, but not probable.

millpondwx
so event total of like 9 or 10? 4" this morning on top of 8" yesterday. An even foot here Littleton. It'll be ineresting to see what the more convective looking echos bring in the next couple of hours. Still flakes now but very fine. Not bad for an event where the 850 low tracks into upstate NY and NNE. Snow depths are just amazing. Not exactly sure what the average depth is but the neighbors bird bath across the street is completely covered.

kdxken
Anyone know what the record snow cover is for BDL, ORH, BOS and CON? May have a shot at breaking those records if this weekend's event is mostly snow (I'm thinking it's mostly snow north and west of BDL/ORH, but changing to ZR at BDL/ORH after a few hours of snow, and probably mainly rain for BOS). I've been around for all the big years, 78', 95' - the eye test tells me it's close....
