dendrite
I'm not worried in the least bit about next weeks event. I actually envision it being a scenario similiar to what we just went thru the last 2 days.swfe type event. Euro ens will be colder I could envision that, but there is probably going to be a lot less cold to play with. There is an arm of sfc high pressure (you love banana highs) extending from the central plains to S QB as well.

SnowMan
Will the coast of eastern mass have mixing issues for the Saturday storm? Someone mentioned a line from BOS to ORH would get snow so I wasn't sure if north of there on the coast would be snow...any insight would be great. Thanks. Damage In Tolland
While I was chiselling out before..my neighbor a few houses up stopped over.He is in his late 70's/early 80's. He said he has measured 82.3 inches this winter. I've got us at 80.8 He's lived in this neighbohood since 1970. Said he has never , ever seen anything like this He also brought up Staffordville..and said that he thinks the guy up there loves big totals..and always seems high. He has no idea about this weather board ..so for him to say that was pretty funny

It's too early, but there could very well be mixing. Verbatim, the euro seemed like all snow just n and w of BOS...even near you.

Typhoon Tip
That Euro run is crazy ... It's like, for all rights that low next week has no business being anything other than a southerly gale that runs up to BUF, yet somehow it manages to just squeek a snow-mix-snow scenario out of that. Damage In Tolland
How high are the walls? I am finding that sleet ROLLS I have some pics I'll post in a bit. With the ice crust over the snow I couldn't stack it like I usually do..It sort of rolled off and down the back of the banks. Driveway has a solid inch of ice. I'm not sure why though..It was pretty well down to blacktop yesterday after i shovelled and then snowed on top then sleet...then zr..but when I shovelled..there was all this ice underneath
CoastalWx
You think we see some light snow this evening/early night? I could see a little light snow. I think most of it may be further north, but maybe an inch for some. It's one of those things that will be tough to model, but with weak convergence and the mid level low moving east and moistening the mid levels a bit...there will be a little light snow for some. Perhaps some breaks 2" near the NH border.

Remember when WNE had like an inch or two but it never made it to you guys? Not that that will happen..but is it the same type of setup?

Remember when WNE had like an inch or two but it never made it to you guys? Not that that will happen..but is it the same type of setup? Well it favors WNE and up through srn V and srn NH I think, but with the flow still bring in a little Atlantic inflow it could favor areas near the coast too, later on. I don't quite remember that event. I wouldn't be shocked if had just flurries or over 2". It's one of those things.
