40/70 Benchmark
Stick with Noyes on this one..He's all snow and 6+ for all of interior SNE. He nailed today's event and just about everything this winter. I only got half of what he forecasted, today.
weatherwiz
BTW we are getting TONS of building and roof collapse reports. Too numerous to mention. Some total collapses too. Yeah the number so far today is quite staggering, I know of at least 7-9 so far...lost count Something like 15-18 over the past two days.
Damage In Tolland
That has to be wrong. The center of Stafford Springs down by the river, but I think he's at around 750'. I'm at 650' and a couple hundred feet higher than the center of town. I have (had) 37" as of 0800 this morning. Part of my sugar bushes in here in Stafford and Union have more than that, but they don't get much sun. Yeah i have a general 38-40 yardwide..more in a few spots that drifted in the 26 inch storm

HoarfrostHubb
11.15 ish obs 17.1F Light snow/sleet 4.7" new (after compaction due to sleet) 7.2" Tuesday 11.9" total meh I was watching the sleet carve up the nice snow that had piled up on my deck railings the last 2 days. Brutal brutal carnage Town plow is going by veeerrrrryyy slowly. Wonder what that is about. He is even raising and lowering the swing wing as he encounters mailboxes, etc. Not sure about skiing later on. Need to see what is up with my car's wipers, too. met_fan
In from shoveling. Ridiculously heavy sleet (most i've been in since that V Day storm) with snow coming in and out, even some streaks of ZR on the cars. We're right inside the CF here (N. Sudbury, temp 18) according to the surface map. Sleet ACCUMULATES, just in case you didn't know, and feels like shoveling gold. At least it stays put.... My sleet is like marbles...as soon as I heave it onto my shoulder-level banks, half of it rolls back onto the walkway

weatherMA
Big timing differences on Saturday Nam vs. gfs. GFS has the precip starting around 12-15z Saturday and over around 00z Sunday. Nam doesnt get the precip in here until after 18z. Then again its 3 days out so I guess thats not a big difference.

Typhoon Tip
Let's start high 6-12 Yea, that's too high Kev'. One thing we have not had this season yet is a system depending on dynamically driven snows. We've been lucky in the sense that cold has been in abundance, but this deal on the weekend has a kind of 33F blue snow vibe to it, with isothermal soundings. Anyway, if that becomes case than you're talking 8:1 type snow, and 12" of that is just not coming out of the sky with this one. For now that is... heh
