NE at PVC, W at FMH and S at HYA. (actually just flipped W now at HYA)

It's pretty impressive .. meanwhile the CF keeps racing south, cambridge now below freezing looks like it's just about to cross the mass ave bridge, should be in boston within the next 30 mins or hour.

Someone sent in a 14'' report to the local TV station for ASH. Man, if I slantsticked like some of these people, I'd be over 65'' for the year.

I saw that... I have 12.5" total for both storms here. BZ had my report, 14" in Londonderry, and 18" in Hampton just now on the noon news

what about CT schools?

As far as roof damage?

All I know of is some sort of roof weakening at the Windsor High School...was first reported as a collapse with the roof over the auditorium but then was said not to be a collapse but major weakening or denting in.

Now that I think about it...I measure in an area that is sheltered by a tree and the house, and I don't clear every 6 hours. Maybe I'm a lowsticker??

So it blows from the tree and the roof of the house onto the spot where you measure?

This storm busted low even for the snh peeps.

Colossal bust here in SW Maine. Most forecasts had us locked in at 14-20" for this round, and we might have 6" new. I haven't been on the board today until now, but I knew as soon as I took a quick glimpse at the upstream radar early this morning that this wasn't going to happen. Still stuck at one double-digit storm for the season, unless something unexpected happens this afternoon.

Lost power for about 40 minutes. Not much ice on the trees/power lines but a lot on snow pack/sidewalks/cars. About half a mile to mile north everything is coated in ice including trees.. trees are drooping down, same with power lines. Stronger the drooping with each half mile. We ended up with about 0.36 inches of ice before change over to rain. 0.50-0.60 northern part of town.

We are going to have a SERIOUS icing situation in Boston-metro. I live in Cambridge and the roads leave much to be desired in terms of being treated.

A true flash freeze - temps went from 34 straight to 29 in like 5 minutes and looks to be dropping to the mid 20s, yikes!

No flash freeze necessary here. Sitting at my high temp of 19.2.

If we take the difference between the slop of the gfs and the ots ggem, maybe we'll have mostly sunny with scattered flurries.
