Not questioning but I'm just curious, because I thought sleet accumulated much, much slower. For example, I have about .3" sleet in the past 1 hr and 15 minutes of almost pure sleet. I'm 14 mi. from Jackson VT and we will easily meet the low end snow total expectations here after I had my doubts around 7am. Hopefully we don't have to tangle with these temp issues much going forward/or the pattern changes and the models start getting it right. Many of the SREF members the other day had the ptype turning to sleet even in NNE. That was a little bit of a red flag to me. The SREFs handled the warming aloft pretty well in the 1/18 SWFE too.
