jconsor Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 Locally heavy squalls have formed in a very narrow band from near Port Jefferson to Bellport in Suffolk County. These squalls developed and intensified very quickly out of nowhere. There is nice PVA aloft and a weak inverted trough extending E-W from near Cape Cod across southern CT.
