BucksCO_PA
Just under 1/2" ice in Warminster. Lots of tree branches and wires down. Anyone know what the temps are going to do the rest of the day? Continue to rise or a flash freeze later? Winds are now WSW at BWI & DC, subsequently temps into the 40's Pittsburgh spiked to 49 before the cold air arrived I guess we watch the wind
PAPPG
Just under 1/2" ice in Warminster. Lots of tree branches and wires down. Anyone know what the temps are going to do the rest of the day? Continue to rise or a flash freeze later? Just drove through most of Bucks(lower milford, q-town, down 313 to doylestown, back through sellersville, ridge valley) and NW Montco. Bucks was much worse than montco. I hope for some quick melt for Bucks, otherwise there will be big problems once we get a freeze and 10-20mph winds. JTA66
Temp up to 35.8. Chunks of ice are dropping out of the trees, looks a little dangerous to step outside. Every now and then a chuck will hit the house. Hopefully the snow cover on the roof is softening the blow. Light fog starting to form.

Yea, next time you go to the king of prussia mall, or in that vicinity. Look at the ridge to the south. My golf course is on top of that ridge. From what my boss said this ridge is a 100 mile ridge from philly to the harrisburg area.

Locally, I knew of two high points just to my south. Eagleville, PA (449 ft.) and south Worcester (about 500 ft.) My house is at 215 ft...not too high, but not too shabby considering a 1/2 mile away is the Perkiomen Creek at Graterford gauge station at 112 ft. http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=phi&gage=grap1&view=1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1&toggles=10,7,8,2,9,15,

Voyager
Well clearing the driveway of that sleet/ice cement was not fun. No it was not. I chopped and shoveled the sidewalks, and then the neighbor said I could use his snow blower around our cars if I did his driveway for him. Even that was a chore as it wouldn't take everything down the the bare street and I had to fight it as it was pulling every direction but straight. Anyway, 38.1 here in balmy Tamaqua.
