What is warning criteria, I always forget, is it 6+ in 12 hours or 8+ in 24 hours? If so, we might get pretty close to the 6+ in 12 hours I think especially if the 18z NAM is right on qpf.

Drive home should be fun. I will be heading North so should see the change over as I go if it doesn't make it to me before I leave. :snowman:

Where are you at right now that it hasn't changed over for you yet?

All snow coming down in Bethel Park now. Big flakes coming down. I get to join the party now! :snowman:

Oh Yeah !!!!!! :snowman: :snowman:

From an untrained eye, there appears to be very little southern movement with the precip shield.

So basically everything back into NW Indiana, is probably gonna have to make it's way through the metro area.

Some heavy returns in Ohio heading in our general direction as well. I think the snow is really going to be piling up in the next few hours or so. I changed over just in time it looks like!

Still sleeting and only light so far at my home in Bethel Park.

The mix line must be cutting right through Bethel Park right now. I'm seeing light snow right now. It was coming down moderately about 10 minutes ago but has let back up since. Looks like sleet is trying to mix back in at times where I'm at, but mostly snow attm.

Anyone think the 3-5 inch totals predicted by everyone will bust low?

I have almost 2 inches on the ground here and still coming down.

With snow back to Indiana you figure we have another 8 hours or so of snow.

Could we see some places with a surprise 6-8 or so?

Also, Anyone think the detour sign is helping to bring this storm over top of us?

I think 3-5 sounds about right for my area, since I just changed over recently. Maybe you guys to the north will end up seeing more since you got an earlier changeover.
