Getting another hail storm again.

I have never seen so much hail.

I still have hail on the ground from the storm 1 hour ago.

Sky is black. It is dark as night.

This is unbelievable.

Just saw the funnel cloud on WTAE in Greensburg. Someone sent in video.

I know, back to back hail producing cells is really rare for us

Tornado in Greensburg.

Wow, thats about 1 mile from where I work.

I saw the storms developing so I took about a half hour of personal time to try and beat the storms home and I am sure glad I did! I did drive through the storm at one point it was almost completely dark, hail stones smashing off the windshield, cloud to ground pink and blueish lighting bolts hitting less than a mile way (although there was less lightening than you would have expected), and my phone kept going off with PA Weather Alert text messages. When the message came in with the Tornado warning I was pretty sure I was in or close to the cell that was producing the warning. (I was just north of Delmont when this was happening)

My daughter had her windshield cracked by the second storm. She said it was close to softball size on Center Ave in Pittsburgh. That might be a little exaggerated on the size, but I am sure they were big.

That's pretty impressive, softball sized hail are common in the Midwestern/plains region. The severe season have started off on a good note, I wonder if we will get a great season for severe weather this year.

Never seen it literally go dark like that ever! I wonder if it would have been quite that dark if it was noon - but clearly it was still "daytime" out at 5:00.

First batch of hail downtown today was probably nickel sized.....second batch was golf ball...maybe a bit bigger with some. I don't think I've seen hail in several years let alone back to back storms.

As usual with the really big time weather you have mixed feelings. On one hand I was thrilled to see what was historic weather for this area. On the other hand I was worried about my car.....and even more so about others life and property as the tornado and hail reports came in. Hope everyone had a safe day.

Oh my, I just came across this youtube over on WTAE's website. Bunch of high schoolers shot this from Hempfield HS.. which is I believe the school that ended up having its roof damaged. Also.. note that they see and pan over to the ACTUAL tornado/funnel at 0:31, and adjust your speakers accordingly.

As chilly as it's been, and forecasted to be, I forget sometimes that we're almost in April.

Although at this point I'm cool with whatever, blizzard or golf.

Weekend storm is gaining a bit of momentum, although most forecasts are favoring a more coastal track solution at this time.

However this being spring, I could see more of a piedmont track.
