snowstormcanuck
0.6" here since 1030pm. Small powdery flakes, too. It got a bit intense for about ten minutes with heavier light snow and wind, now it's fairly calm out there right now with the odd flake. Wow, that's weird. KC/BUF radar shows some 25-30 DBZ returns right over you.

OceanStWx
The amount of electricity with this storm has been out of control. This has been really enjoyable to track with everyone. I'm glad it has lived up to 9 pages worth of discussion so far.

cyclone77
Keep losing power here. Luckily for short periods. Just went out and walked around in it. Still ripping pretty good with SN+. Didn't take any measurements but we have to be approaching a foot at least by now.

Toronto4
Almost moderate snow now. Small flakes, but not sand/pixie dust. About 0.4" as of midnight. Same in the downtown core. My final call for the Toronto area is 8-12", but more likely 8-10". Amounts could be higher in spots if we get thunder snow.
daddylonglegs
So Madison should easily hit a foot or better... Its finally snowing here, looks to be coming down sideways looking at the street lamp. NWS saying 1-3 maybe... Would not want to be driving 90/94 tonite... Hoar_Frost
the best storm of my life and I can't buy a lightning strike or clap of thunder...this blows. The thunder and lightning kinda sneaks up on you; you really have to pay attention for it. I've seen quite a bit of it here in Geneva, mostly between 9 and 10 o'clock. cyclone77
the best storm of my life and I can't buy a lightning strike or clap of thunder...this blows. Yeah it's bizarre. Apparently it's been very electric in certain places, but not here either. It's been snowing very intensely, so I'm not sure why we haven't seen any lightning. Our highest gusts here have been around 45mph, but it happens quite frequently. I can live without the thunder and lightning if the intensity is convective like this. I'm estimating we have a foot or so, but it's pure estimation.

Amounts could be higher in spots if we get thunder snow. I'm keeping my call of 6-10" (which I revised down from 8-14" earlier today). Convection is going to be a key component. If we get lucky with it, we could see a upward spike in amounts.

I'm estimating we have a foot or so, but it's pure estimation. I live off LSD, but there is a large park, then LSD, then another park and beach between me and the lake, so maybe 1/4 mile or so. The winds between my building and the neighboring hi-rise are intense, when i walked right down to the lakefront, it was hard to stand straight. Ottawa Blizzard
Has EC increased its forecast snowfall totals? no, but I think they should. Judging from models, we could get 8-10" tomorrow. i have found that the Canadian weather outlets have been lagging in this storm. Local Ottawa news calling for 6". Local Montreal news calling for 8-12" in both Ottawa and Montreal.
