snowstormcanuck
So, according to this article I just read the show is pretty much over for them? There's additional convective snow that's moving into SE MI from N IN.
cyclone77
am I the only one not getting thunder or lightning?? ugh Nope, we haven't had any either. Apparently it doesn't matter though, as I can't imagine it snowing harder than this. Have had this 30dBZ band parked right over us for the past 45mins. Power went off and on for the first time a bit ago. Enough of that!!
Nelson
I think I am most impressed by the wind so far. Just amazing. Light to moderate snow but having a hard time telling because it is so windy. Just kickin' ass out there right now...

Chicago WX
How much snow did LAF get? We got Ø" along SR 32, however my coworker who is a mile north of SR 28 got 3"-4". Little to none today, other than some flakes mixed in with the sleet at times.
meatwad
So, according to this article I just read the show is pretty much over for them? pretty much, over for them, between the two main precip shield, it's fairly scattered, and not as solid you can see the occlusion over Kentucky. Stryker
Looks like Peoria is nearing the end in the next 3-4 hrs. wouldn't expect much more than another 3-4 inches max unless we get this thing to swing around but its looking like it will track east and north too fast. I've got around 9 in here so far I think but haven't made any real measurements, just eyeballin it.
RobertSul
Wow! Here in Canton, MI, we just had 30-35 dbz blob (not even a band ) come through. It was very short-lived but intense... total white-outs for very brief periods... saw a blue flash in the sky... might've been lightning, but not sure. Wind was gusting hard enough to shake the glass window. EDIT: 30-35, not 35-
