mnweather
I'm from back east and this easily rivals anything I've ever witnessed. Though my hometown was notoriously on the wrong side of the rain/snow line. It just keeps pouring snow here and I think it's been forever, but it's only been 4 hours since the last measurement and what looks like 8 inches new snow since then. How do you guys measure at the WFO in wind like you have?

on_wx
I think it'll go from 0 to 100 pretty quickly. Looks like +SN according to radar near the north shore of Lk Erie. A-Channel London is live on Commissioners Road, heavy snow and drifting occurring there. Look's great!

OceanStWx
How do you guys measure at the WFO in wind like you have? If the wind is really bad and there is nothing in the rain gauge, we usually take a snow core and get a ratio from that and estimate.

B-Rent
Crap loads. But to be honest I'm not 100% sure, maybe 3". Hard to tell with all the drifting. How much snow did LAF get? We got Ø" along SR 32, however my coworker who is a mile north of SR 28 got 3"-4".

nevermind
Had a lot of lightning for a bit. Lost power for a few minutes this time. Heard two cracks of thunder. Caught one, but you'll have to excuse 1. My giddiness right after it (if you can even here it over #2 below) 2. The lovely sound we have had to deal with for over 2 effin years due to the worst neighbors I have ever had the displeasure of having and a Police Dept. that doesn't give a s**t. The video just doesn't do this justice. Especially at night.
