Awesome....lets get it out by 10am

I'm all for dryslots when I have a bad man in the mid levels coming to do bad, bad things to me.

I'm pleased by the snow growth even in this front runner stuff. RUC (which usually torches) actually has mid-levels cooling for the next 3 hours or so before starting its march back north. It would be nice to get the snow temporarily down to BDL and Kevin later on...that would buy some time.

But I know you'll be watching my obs like a Hawk since as long as I'm snowing in this setup, you're safe.

Sorry, but in any other context this would sound very disturbing.

In other news, looks like some sort of SN-/IP blend falling.

Part II has begun. I know even before it comes to pass MBY will be right on that proverbial line.

Maybe someone posted this already, curious.

What are the record snow depths for random selected cities and are we going to break or have they been broken?

My record is 40" in Feb-March 1969 and I'm currently in 2nd place with 30.5".

Bouchard was downplaying heavily around the city IMO.

He's had a good winter. His best since joining Channel 7. He also has a pleasant demeanor which is why he's the Chief Met at the #2 station in town in a top 10 market which is nothing to sneeze at. But, he over-forecasts snow. I'm not technically in his market, but COX does broadcast their 10pm edition and he always over-predicts snow...especially in my area by 50-75%. Pete, and all the young people at Channel 7 can't hold Todd Gross's jock when it comes to forecasting our weather and everybody knows it.
