Reports that a roof collapse at the raquet club in Trumbull, trying to confirm this now....We have heard many up North not as many in the Southern part of CT.... The majority have been south. Wallingford has probably had the most.

snowwoman
The majority have been south. Wallingford has probably had the most. Ah I forgot about the Wallingford ones, I keep hearing about the Northern ones I think mainly because of here and keep hearing about Portlands..Sorry about that. It was confirmed though. 40/70 Benchmark
That is true. It's not paralyzing out here. We shrug, continually shovel a path to the woodshed, and life goes on. Don't get me wrong....your winters are more severe and it's not close....it just has a different imactg in E MA.
mattmfm
NAM looks ZR to me in HFD...goes from SN to a brief period of IP then ZR Yup, and probably 1-3" at best before the change races north. NAM would be IP by like 8AM.

Clinch Leatherwood
NAM keeps me conservative. Yes. Do you agree it's warming rapidly in the mid layers...and it almost times out now ahead of the heavier precip on this model. By 15z if this storm follows every single one this winter with temp issues it'll be pinging up well north of Boston towards the NH border. Most have only had .3ish or QPF prior to 15z. No changes in either direction I would say in earlier thinking. Harvey will probably be right as usual. 4-6/8 I think Harv will chop at 11....if the GFS/RGEM also come in warmer.....I'm thinking lobster. Arnold214
Where do I find the "storm id" number for this storm to submit storm totals? It's in the announcement at the top of the page. It's 101.
weatherwiz
Yup, and probably 1-3" at best before the change races north. NAM would be IP by like 8AM. And 1-3'' of wet stuff that might try to cling...think it's going to be pretty ugly around parts of the state tomorrow.

Note this disclaimer from GYX: EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE TREATED TODAY/S SNOWFALL EVENT AND WEDNESDAY/S AS SEPARATE EVENTS FROM AN ADVISORY/WARNING STANDPOINT...OUR SNOW TOTAL GRAPHIC ON OUR WEB PAGE REFLECTS THE COMBINED TOTAL FOR BOTH DAYS TO BE CONSISTENT WITH SURROUNDING OFFICES.
