ParsippanyWX
Joe B on twitter: Well, I'm reserved to the fact that here in NW NJ, we're in for a nasty ice storm. temps are currently siting @ 23F and to remain in the low 20s all night. probably will not go over 32F the entire storm. Not good at all. Expecting about 0.5+" of ice.
Quincy
even though the damage will have already been done, temperatures will likely rise above freezing well inland, once the precip ends from west to east between late morning and early afternoon. EasternLI
Seem to be holding at 27.9 here, with slight NNE breeze PS - Forgot, freezing drizzle seems to have picked back up
IsentropicLift
Areas under the warnings already will most definitly verify with lowest chance being eastern Bergan county im expecting a few jaws calls tonight and possible roof collapses/down power lines/trees

SmokeEater
Areas under the warnings already will most definitly verify with lowest chance being eastern Bergan county im expecting a few jaws calls tonight and possible roof collapses/down power lines/trees I don't think your gonna see roof collapses, unless theres areas with well over a foot of snow on the roof. Power lines and trees? If the accum happens that's forcasted? I don't envy those guys up there responding in this crap. And the morning commute is probably going to be hell. Maybe so after the storm pulls through. But I don't think we'll get much higher than 35-36 F tomorrow and then a flash freeze overnight Wed. into Thursday. The "warm-up" will be short lived. XtremeWx
Try wunderground. It should be around the same. Im at 26.7 here and still dropping slowly on a gusty NNE wind. WU has me at 27F on the dot but has me at a different location (Middle village) while WB has the reporting station at Our Lady Sacrament which is much closer to my house. Sounds like WB is the better bet for you. Do they show what kind of weather station is being used to report the data? I stick to Davis on wunderground. Not for me, the WB station is in eyesight from my window. :devilsmiley:wouldn;t Wunderground pop up LGA? Haha let's not talk about LGA, they have "issues" with temps.
