earthlight
By the way, flake size and intensity has improved..earlier we had the worst snow grain-type precipitation I have ever seen fall from the sky.
nzucker
By the way, flake size and intensity has improved..earlier we had the worst snow grain-type precipitation I have ever seen fall from the sky. Radar looks pretty decent over Central PA, definitely some heavy banding. Perhaps the Metro can pick up a few inches in the wee hours. -SN 22.3/

Cfa
So that's how it's rolling in, interesting. It got far since the last time I checked a radar (this afternoon). I don't see any snow falling but it probably is.
SEC
I don't see any snow falling but it probably is. Don't know where on the Island you are, but I have a light coating in the street already here in Levittown (eastern Nassau County).
ZeeTwentyFour
yeah it is here in Nassau. We got real flakes now too; not the grain sized pellets.
Dosh
moderate windy snow in New Brunswick. I can still her a few crackles in the trees from the errant snow pellet, but its mostly a fluffy snow now. nice flake size, and humidity is soaring. Sorry it is snowing, I couldn't see at first until I looked at the streetlight. I can't even guesstimate the amount that fell so far since almost everything was already covered in snow, the middle of the street has more snow now and that's the only difference lol. RU848789
Moderate snow here in Metuchen; been snowing for about 30 minutes and I'd eyeball it from the window as about 1/4" - all surfaces nicely covered. 24F with dp at about 19F.
Dsnowx53
I still think the best low-level convergence will be just to our north, so it's nice to be able to "cash in" now while we can.

Hailstorm
You mean +10 right ?? Yeah, sorry about that. Anyway, Upton increased ice accumulations for NYC and LI. Close to 0.4" falls in those areas.

danstorm
I'm not seeing the 5-10 inches in southern westchester, but maybe i'll be proven wrong... I don't see it, either. I just went for a 2-4 then lull then pl then zr then snow... max of 6" in DXR and more likely 3-5" of glop/ice Nearly the same, likely less, for Southern Westchester, where they may go over to plain rain on Wed (though even there, it is not a certainty).
