NJHurricane
1994 ice/sleet/snow/ice storms...didn't have a complete week of school for 6 weeks...I took my drivers test in the middle of this....Due to DMV testing centers being shut down, they had a huge backlog...also giant ice ruts and frozen over snow piles in the street...my DMV person had me drive around the block once, execute a k-turn...and declared that I was fit to have a license since the streets were too ice clogged to try anything else I remember several of those events being underforecast in terms of ice/frozen potential. Time and again "changing to rain" turned into a big semi-frozen mess. Share your memories here.
johnc
I remember a few ice storms but I get them all confused. Were there any around '91-'92 or were they primarily in '94? I remember getting some snow in '94 also... February 11 I think. Seems like we had a lot of snow that winter?
Cfa
The only ice storm I can recall is Maryland around '98, we had no power and there was so just much ice, it was surreal. I've never seen anything like that before (or ever again).
