Chicago WX
Yeah I see a few again. Good Lord it is pouring sleet right now. Here and gone. But yes, if there's such a thing as PL+, we've got to be close.

Organizing Low
I think the hype stems from the fact that its the first widespread storm they are getting after a long time. I think the March 2008 storm was bigger, in terms of snow amounts, especially for the Ottawa valley. march 08 was a doozy for ottawa and montreal, easily the heaviest snowfall i have ever seen around these parts....in terms of snowfall. but in terms of ferocity, the december 15/07 storm was defintely the most fierce storm i have seen around our area since the Superstorm. and that dec 15/07 was a crippler, from Windsor straight through to Quebec City. i believe it was the worst storm to impact that *entire* heavily populated corridor since a storm in the late 60s, i read..........if any storm deserved a blizzard nomination, that was it....BUt of course it occurred on a Sunday. that may be a factor. blue60007
Apparently huge flakes on the NW side of town, but heavy sleet here, on the southern side
Powerball
DTX lowered Detroit's storm totals to 7-11". That sounds about right, maybe still a hair high.
