So jealous, been years since I've seen a period of heavy snow and wind.

DVN is all in now. Just issued AFD:

145 PM CST TUE FEB 1 2011

.UPDATE...

THE BLIZZARD IS RAPIDLY BECOMING REALITY OVER THE CWA. AS UPDATED

EARLIER...THE BLIZZARD WARNING IS ALREADY IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE

CWA...VS SOME STARTING AT 3 PM. MESOSCALE

MODELS...MAP...SATELLITE...AND RADAR ANALYSIS ALL CONFIRM THE

STORM IS TAKING A SLIGHTLY STRONGER AND FARTHER NORTHWEST TRACK

THAN THE GFS INDICATES. HEAVY SNOW IS ALREADY FOUND OVER THE

SOUTHERN 1/2 OF THE CWA...AS OF 19Z...WELL AHEAD OF MODELS EXCEPT

FOR THE 15Z RUC. SNOWFALL REPORTS BETWEEN 11 AM AND 1 PM ARE

ALREADY AROUND 2 INCHES IN THIS AREA.

LOOKING AT SATELLITE AND RADAR...THE DRY SLOT APPEARS TO BE

WORKING NORTH OF MOST FORECASTS...AND SHOULD MOVE JUST SOUTHEAST

OF OUR CWA OVERNIGHT. THIS PLACES THE HEAVY AXIS OF SNOW THROUGH

INCREDIBLE DEEP LAYER DENDRITIC LIFT RIGHT THROUGH THE

SOUTHEASTERN 2/3RDS OF THE CWA THROUGH LATE TONIGHT. SO...BEFORE

00Z...SNOW AMOUNTS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES WILL HAVE ALREADY FALLEN

ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80. THIS ACCOUNTS FOR JUST UNDER 1/2

OF THE EVENT TOTAL IN THE FAR SOUTH. THUS...A WIDESPREAD 15 TO 22

INCH SNOW IS LIKELY OVER THE ENTIRE SOUTHEAST SLIGHTLY MORE THAN

1/2 OF THE CWA THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY.

I should get a nice total, but it sure would be nice if CR could get the brunt of an epic storm sometime. I've never even received a foot before.
