weathafella
Nice event. A 12 hour thump dumping 6+ in many areas for round 1.
Clinch Leatherwood
NAM still has a very satisfying appetizer. IMO interesting to see the 1052 high laying the boom to the low...nudging it east by quite a bit over the 12z/18z. That's an impressive nudge east...probably bodes well for us. weatherMA
My read is snow begins here (Boston area) around 12Z, already the line is into NH/VT/ME by 15z. Snowing moderate to heavily from about Noon on. Youre right. From 7a to 12p maybe an inch...then it picks up. Maybe 2-3" from 18z to 21z on the Nam. BDR
0.5-0.75 QPF all snow (barely) for me by 24hr.
DomNH
Youre right. From 7a to 12p maybe an inch...then it picks up. Maybe 2-3" from 18z to 21z on the Nam. Roads in most places are probably pretty bad by 18z. Should stick immediately since it's going to be so cold.
Ginx snewx
Nice 50 knot inflow directly from the ocean over a 25 degree airmass. SFE not SWFE

weatherwiz
0.5-0.75 QPF all snow (barely) for me by 24hr. I wouldn't be totally shocked if we had some pingers mixed in towards the end of round 1...were right on the freaking line Looks like we could get a good 4-6'' though from this round! weathafella
Yes...0.5+ qpf, snowy for most of MA tomorrow.from BOS-CEF-N CT-E NY.
Clinch Leatherwood
warmer than the 12z through 24, colder than the 18z....AWT. Compared to the 18z it nudged the QPF south versus the 0z for the first part...also slashed the expanse of the .5 but that's expected...it's not as warm so it's not going to generate as much precip. NAM is def cold enough for snow at HFD but we come close to pingers at the tail end.

Bostonseminole
looks like 6-8" is a good bet for my area.. maybe 7-9" that would be nice...
Clinch Leatherwood
So...it cut back some on storm 1, and is still pretty warm for storm 2. Colder than the 18z, warmer than the 12z. Kind of classic again...gets to near the same place via a different route.
moneypitmike
Yes...0.5+ qpf, snowy for most of MA tomorrow.from BOS-CEF-N CT-E NY. Key #1 for high totals come Wednesday night is getting a good jumpstart through round 1. That will be accomplished per the NAM.

Clinch Leatherwood
It's trying...as low one departs it's dragging cold air back down but how much? Out towards Ohio it's actually warmer than the 18z beyond 24....
CT Rain
00z NAM has ticked even warmer than 18z and 12z. Definitely a warmer trend here on the NAM by 12z Wednesday.
