It's 100% snow as it starts to wind down It's been all snow here thankfully...it was probably like you said with the rimmed flakes...I had that here as well...it sounds like sleet but it really isn't. I guarantee you he was driving in his car on the Mansfield/Tolland line in far south part of town and had some rimage off his windshield and reported it as sleet. Mostly sleet now, but 15 minutes ago it was ripping flakes. wait wait, while I'm typing it's transitioning back to flakes. Hildy Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 I live about five minutes from the Natick exit on the Pike, so it seems I'll be right at ground zero of the Sleet/Snow skirmish line tomorrow. Happy to give detailed reports in the OBS thread as needed. It's been snowing steadily at a moderate to heavy pace all day; I think we were forecast in the 4-8 inch range for this part of the storm, and it's going to bust high.
