CoastalWx
The phrase of this winter is Go Snow or Go home.. Repeat after me Go Snow or go home.... Snow on snow on snow on snow It's a marginal setup which is why I'm iffy, especially here. Any weenie can go for all snow 5 days out. Euro was an outlier as was mentioned earlier, so this solution makes more sense.

OSUmetstud
looks like the folks in the line from Springfield to Worcester to Gloucester are going to be the winner. Radar derived qpf is probably right but the random dry intrusions and marginal cold air are really hurting snowgrowth here. I've been oscillating from 1.5"/hr. to 0.25"/hr. lol. grinch1989
Just make sure to have what you need if you lose power, lol. Flash lights, wood for a fire or woodstove (if you have one)...the house will get very cold very quickly if you lose power and heat. Hopefully you keep power though. At least it looks like qpf shouldn't be too much over an inch...so while it could get really bad, hopefully its not a total catastrophe. Thanks Will, yeah I have a woodstove and a bunch of firewood already stored inside. Should be interesting to see how this one plays out between the merritt and 84...
