Scott, do the accumulations seem Kosher here? I was surprised to see both NWS offices and well respected local mets so bullish when I got in tonight.

I think 30" may be hard to come by unless everything was perfect. I could see 20" with you though..perhaps a little more. Should be some nice deep layer erly flow giving you a boost, plus tomorrow looks great there and maybe you could squeeze out a few inches Wednesday night. The thing is, this storm is moving quick, so the DS will probably come in quicker than some think. Either way, a great storm for you.

Yeah, but I meant on a real mountain. Age is a state of mind. Eat well, excercise, vices in moderation, ski to live and live to ski. Have fun Chris, hope you get snow down there.

So my plan for a few hours as Nashoba on Thursday.............Think of it as hitting the range for the first time in May after a big big winter.

Thanks Scott, now I can sleep, seriously. I'm all amped up. I get nervous that something will go wrong at the last minute. That's why I'm forcing myself to detach, until I get up to see what the Euro spits out.lol I've been on the phone with my ski freak friends all night, plotting and conspiring to shirk all responsibilities. Getting congrats called in from BC, Washington, Oregon and Alalska. This is why I've always been self -employed. Work hard, play hard.

I agree that I am surprised at how bullish GYX is, as well as a lot of the TV mets. Perhaps they are assuming higher ratios? The SREFs have consistently showed 1.5+ and 1.75+, is that right? and that would translate to 18-24 with 12:1 ratios. Perhaps they are assuming some 15:1 ratios for some areas that get deformation late in the storm? Or perhaps they think the intensity of the system will cause overperformance? Verbatim from GYXs AFD and Zones for me is 4-8 Tues-Tues night and 12-18 Wednesday-Wednesday. That's 16-26. Aggressive to say the least. And 30 is in Pete's zone? Wow.
