mattlacroix4
I think NAM will end up overdone Maybe
Chrisrotary12
The next three days will be incredible. Crippling snows from Oklahoma to Michigan to Maine. With Crippling ice just south of that line. And then severe weather for the southeast. Looking at the watches/warnings map on noaa 2/3 of the country is under some kind of advisory. This is just awesome/amazing/scary? at the same time.
moneypitmike
It would be nice if there could be some good ratios somewhere in round one to give a boost for whatever transpires in round two.
TalcottWx
Yup. 2-4" according to it tomorrow
CT Rain
Not at hour 36. Definitely warmer. Could certainly see sleet work up to around IJD-PVD-TAN for the latter half of tomorrow. Look after 36 hours. Significantly colder.

Not me in VT
Is it looking better for the connecticut shore or does this mean the zr is closer to the shoreline instead of plan rain?
mattb65
This run is going to have prolific QPF for SNE, can't wait to see the clown maps.
CTWeatherFreak
Look after 36 hours. Significantly colder. Was that nice 1032 high around on prior depictions? Seems to build in just in time for part II

Zeus
Look after 36 hours. Significantly colder. I've never loved the position of a high pressure so much as I do for this event.
Damage In Tolland
Matt mother f'er really wants PVD to sleet it seems..even though the NAM keeps all of interior SNe all snow from belly to belly
mattmfm
Look after 36 hours. Significantly colder. Oh totally. I meant solely for round 1.

ORH_wxman
Well if the 12z NAM verified to a "T", then some spots would see 20"+. It looks like Kevin made the qpf on paintbrush and then NCEP used it for the 12z NAM.
free_man
Outside NAMs wheelhouse, looks reasonable through 54hr though. (aside halving or 3/4 qpf )
MainePhotog
A lot of reading caught up this morning. Looks like it's still game on for us NNE folks.

HIPPYVALLEY
Does a more ramped up system tuesday have any consequences for the strength and track of wednesday's storm?
ORH_wxman
LOL..didn't we talk about that at the GTG the other day? Talk about what? 20" for this storm? NAM is almost certainly over done...and I'm not convinced we still don't see a period of decent sleet bombs...esp for you.
simpsonsbuff
As said, someone will easily end up 20+ here if verified... In fact, the ratios up in CNE-SNNE (southern nne) are probably quite good with strong omegas and cold temps...
mattmfm
Smidge cold at 850, smidge warmer at 700mb south of the pike.
