powderfreak
Hopefully the stronger part one, the more confluence left in its wake for part two. You guys are greedy! I now know what it felt like to be SNE last winter when all the mid-Atlantic folks were rooting for more and more snow after having 4 feet on the ground. CT Rain
I think we get 4-8 tomorrow and 14-20 Wednesday so your forecast is 18-28" we'll see how that verifies
Mr Torchey
You guys are greedy! No, just trying to avoid rain or freezing rain, between the gutters roofs, and snowpack, we would have major issues down here.

Damage In Tolland
so your forecast is 18-28" we'll see how that verifies Not yet it's not..that's just what i'm thinking about. Hypothetically if we stayed all snow..what kind of totals are you thinking?

Clinch Leatherwood
Pretty much playing out like I'd hope...system one becoming more prominent (still weak though) but a nice snow producer....then we wait for storm 2 which has trended even colder closer to the source out in IL and OH this run versus the 6z. nutmegfriar
And now part 1 seems a bit amped up too. Wow. Attorneys are running scared! I have loads of pre-trials for Wednesday and motions for re-scheduling are flying like weenies.
powderfreak
No, just trying to avoid rain or freezing rain, between the gutters roofs, and snowpack, we would have major issues down here. True, but its bound to happen at some point. You add more snow/sleet now, you'll have a bigger problem later.
CT Rain
Not yet it'snot..that's just what i'm thinking about. Hypothetically if we stayed all snow..what kind of totals are you thinking? Well... if the NAM is right about part 1 being so amped up someone could do quite well with an 18" or 20" amount which is ridiculous for a SWFE. Even thinking about 28" in this kind of setup proves why you consistently garner a large number of votes in WOTY

ORH_wxman
The NAM really went nuts with the first event. That's a 6-10 type deal. Likely over done, but it should be a nice appetizer regardless.
CoastalWx
NAM would probably get some sleet into the south coast for part 1.

mattmfm
12z NAM has ticked colder from 6z. I like. Not at hour 36. Definitely warmer. Could certainly see sleet work up to around IJD-PVD-TAN for the latter half of tomorrow.

free_man
A bit overdone but I wonder if the NAM has some credibility in this case. As we have been thinking all along, radar/obs all eyes will be over IL/IN/KY this evening and into tonight, wrt round one.

mattlacroix4
NAM has bumped up QPF in NH and ME with with the Tuesday event. Nice to see it is increasing. I think that event will be a widespread 3-6 of fluffy snow. Not bad considering what happens after.
