POWERSTROKE
Been trying to figure this guy out he has managed to avoid us so far but I feel his days are numbered....no idea why the pic is so small???? Need it cloudy this weekend full moon coming up and they move a lot at night and not much during the day when its bright out all night. Weather actually has a huge role in deer hunting and hunting in general. Most hunters are by default more weather savvy than most average folks..... where is that picture located at? dsaur
Yeah I know what the rumors are but I like to wait and see exactly how the pattern starts to shape up before I give up on winter. I think by the end of the first full week of December we should have a good idea about what to expect this year. That's just my 2 cents.... no real weather science behind my gut feeling. The weather likes to go in cycles and patterns and I look for short term patterns to get a handle on what to expect. Yep...I don't think I've ever seen a winter when it didn't get down to freezing...so all we need is to add water to that Timing, always timing, in the south, lol, no matter the predictions. MountainMarvel
Severe T-Storm moved through here about a half hour ago. Lots of spider lightning, and gusty wind. Over 1/2 inch fell in 10 minutes. That brings me over 3 inches since Monday afternoon. Lots of standing water and the creeks are very active. Looks like more is on the way, especially for eastern Rutherfordton and Cleveland Counties. Now I hear there is a tornado watch for Rutherford County. Quite a show! Itunis
Did any GA folks get hit by that quick burst of heavy rain/wind? It was around 5:45ish here. It was nasty on the roads with it already being dark. 18Z GFS is back on the mega cold bandwagon in the 300hr range by the way. Fairly meaningless at this point but comforting nonetheless. NCSNOW
Sorry, I couldn't resist even though it's 10+ days out. Needed a practice run. Probably be BL issues anyway. On a serious note, severe potential is in the air tonight. Hopefully I can catch a few 50-60 gust with no damage. This will get the remaining leaves off.
