Yeah, you and most of Georgia has had a banner few years for sure. 31.5" here, even less just to my southwest a few miles. Go back and look at 05, 06, 07, 08, and this year (09 was avg here) on the est. charts. The below area never left my neighborhood, literally except in 09. Guess I'm the world's biggest sinner or something. There's just literally nothing going on here usually, amazing the ways I get missed, sideswiped, and split, just seemingly forever now. Atleast the gap is closing in and getting smaller, but my house is literally the epicenter of this quake. Already some areas are above for the year closer to the NC border. Sure there will be another high amplitude flow that aims the Gulf right at you guys once more in December sometime. The Carolinas on the other hand aren't doing too good on the year. Eastern NC had the big Trop. Storm 20" which saved them, and the southwest mountains have been getting some good ones, but the northern mtns are below their norms, and again central NC, And from my area due south to central SC. Here we go again with Cleveland county and the tornadic weather. Man, I would really hate to be anyone living there hearing this after the tornadoes from last time. You are in a money location for this one. To lend credence to your reading, here is a NWS Lake Toxaway real data printout. Lower than you, but a different location could easily be 2 inches different.
