Yup, and it exits most of the precip. by mid to late morning with temps. between 32-35 across SE PA throughout the rest of the day.
_AR_
Yup, and it exits most of the precip. by mid to late morning. Yeah but .5-.75"+ is more than enough QPF when it is mostly falling as ice.
Parsley
Yeah but .5-.75"+ is more than enough QPF when it is mostly falling as ice. I know, I'm just saying areas that looked to get an inch+ of plain rain, likely won't see that now. Areas that were going to see ice, are going to see it and it will be nasty. Can you please take a chill pill? I like you, but sometimes you are Hazleton's version of Colin. You may be right, but then again who actually knows what the end result will be? Why not just let the storm play itself out and see what we finish with?

Chief83
Worcester - PA. 27. Just a light glaze here with very light freezing drizzle. We are coming up in temp as well - was down to 25. The wind is light, but is variable and averages from the ne. Maybe that will delay the warm air a little. Wonder if it a result of the first wave going off to our east or possibly the high up in Canada. Schools are closed - probably because walking in sidewalks and driveways is very challenging - especially for a child.

Parsley
Temperature has only risen 0.5 degrees here since 6am. Good thing there isn't more precip. around right now, or it'd be very messy.

Thunder Road
12z NAM warmer than 0z, already up to 33.6 by 12z Wed. whereas last night was 33.1 or 32-something. It seems like both the NAM & GFS are trying to warm PHL up an hour or two sooner than originally thought, which could really spare the morning rush hour. Good luck to you N&W guys. Ralph Wiggum
Took a drive this morning from my home in Warminster/Warrington, Bucks County down to Drexel Hill in Delco to visit family. Interesting and pronounced temp gradient. Left Warrington with the temp holding at 24F. Drove South and hit the turnpike where temps spiked to a steady 31F. Arrived in Drexel Hill where the temp is hovering at 32-33F. Definitely some cold air entrenched North of the PA turnpike. Tonight will be interesting when the sun goes down and precip moves back in. We started as snow last night and had a dusting before graupel took over after 11pm. Woke up to freezing drizzle and a glaze on all surfaces. I tried the penguin walk and also walked like an Egyptian, but still wound up on my arse twice. I'll take plain rain over this anyday. Main roads that were treated are fine btw. Reality says that colder guidance is more "right" but at PHL, it's a degree colder than the 0z NAM had progged at this point.

_AR_
Drove from my location down to Bethlehem. 33 and side roads are a mess, but navigatable if you aren't an idiot. Lots of sleet falling.I78 is a lot better, but will probably get worse if sleet continues and ZR overnight.
