What is your thoughts for the rest of the day today and this evening for the state?

you will see the snow line continue to probably shift north and probably settle over or just above the pocs...Lehigh valley area will probably have some sleet and or frz drizzle...everyone else frz drizzle. Phl may go over to plain drizzle, but just north and west will probably continue with the freezing drizzle

Everything is a glaze and its 27 outside had a quick dusting of snow then a layer of sleet now its all freezing drizzle prob. hold onto the freezing drizzle for a long while, i am heading to ardmore,pa Northern Delco not far from county line, and i know its gotta be 25 or 26 there so the freezing drizzle will be entrenched there longer and such, hopefully the drive home wont be to bad.

This is the stuff you wanna walk like a penguin because if you try and walk normally your gonna windup on your ass.

inch of snow up here, maybe a touch more. might be able to eek 2 or 3 total as this wave crosses NW NJ.

Key will what does the next batch in central PA do. Will it continue due east and catch us or do a ene bend around us just clipping us. Further north the better for snow today. North of ~I78 gets some snow, north of I80 gets a little more and once to I84 or so even better snows. Still more concerned about tonigh into tomorrow for icing.

Not too bad up here as it was mostly sleet and snow. We have 2 inches from this first batch, and are now in a temporary lull. I'm watching that slug of moisture over Ohio and Western PA to see if it slides north and just grazes us, or if we can get some more accumulating frozen precip from it.

HPC still calling for .5" ice in SE PA. I would rather be north in the sleet area...or even south in the rain area!

Here in NW montco, 24 degrees, winds NE@2-4 and pressure falling ever so slightly, to 30.23

Can someone comment on the bump in HP to the south of us, will this block, steer or simply erode when SLP slides over??

I was just checking out the cabin cams and it looks about the same. Current temp is 20F. I can see the layering from the mix of snow/sleet. Hope the ice is minimal in the elevations!!.. Perhaps another 2-4 inches of snow and a bit of sleet and ice.

I'm not sure about HP, but I think 1/4-1/2" of freezing rain is still likely for northern Mont. Co with a changever to plain rain sometime between 6-9am Wednesday. We'll see how this low level cold air holds on tomorrow.

IMO...I don't think despite temps hitting 32 it's going to be a walk in the park in the upper parts of the county tomorrow.
