Folks have to understand that these synoptics are terrible for snow in our area, and it's likely that mid level warming is still underdone on modelling, while on the contrary surface temps are too warm. Minor snow accum going quickly over to sleet then freezing rain seems like a good bet for most. If the temps are in the mid 20's at the surface we have a problem.. You really need temps lower than 28/29 at the surface to get freezing rain.. Temps hovering around 31/32 just don't do it..
