Same thing in Andover, sleet until between 5-6 before period of freezing rain with light glaze. Temp peaked around 31 at about 8AM but has now dropped backed to 29. Looking at my weather station data we hung around 21-22 most of the night and than around 5AM shot up to 29 in about 15 minutes which was accompanied by some winds gust over 30. Looks like that burst of wind mixed the warm air down which was pretty cool to see in the data. Working from home so have no idea how roads are up here and kids of course are off again.

We had mainly sleet in mby though finally to freezing rain around 5-6am with a light glaze. temp currently 31.

just getting a few ticks above 32 here,32.4...very hard to measure, but I'd say my acc.'s were very similar to PSU's...right now we've got pea soup fog...just as I'm typing this the first plow went up my sidehill to the highspot up the road...a few cars tried this AM none had succeded...just also saw the first sign of anything melting as a plop of stuff came off the Top of the largest tree imby...

A balmy 38.1 here in the coal country this afternoon. It feels nice, but it sure did make a mess of everything with the melting. Every street has standing water somewhere on it and all of it is going to freeze solid tonight when the temps plummet.

My dear posters, this is what NJ will look like if we get a 2 -4 inch rain on the current snowpack. The video is from Australia but it looks amazingly like our region.

This "Ice" part of the passing system went about as well as could've imagined...the .2/.3 at most of Fr.Rain that was plastered on is mainly gone...at about 3:00 to 4:00 or so the temp. jumped to 33.5,the sun came out the wind came up...Result:The persistent fog and about 80% of the Ice were gone in a hurry...Now,temp is back down to 31.8 w/some flurries in the air...

Bangor, PA

31.5°

Re-freeze is commencing. Can't recall the last time that we've had so many snow on snow events (albeit many were minor). Our 1 foot plus base here in Bangor is comprised of at least 5 or 6 separate significant winter events. Anyone track this sort of thing?
