Wind picking up here to, but its still from the south which is not cool. I tried to give the SNE thread a heads up about those storms before, but I think they had too much to drink :drunk:

At least the temps have started to fall, even out there.

Temps going down now.......Actually looking at it, its one of the odd situations where colder air is filtering in from the south since there is a south wind and temps on the south shore of LI are colder then the north shore.

Yup, I was remarking about this earlier also, when it was 51 at Stony Brook and 39 at JFK lol. But now everyone is in the mid 40s or lower.

Central and Eastern LI got into the true warm sector. However, the snow pack took less of a beating the further west you go. LGA and EWR only lost 1" of snow pack between 7AM Sat and 1AM Sun, while ISP lost 3".

Snow pack taking a beating. It's gone from 46 to 43 in the past hour and winds are ripping out there. I hope we don't drop below freezing - I have a bet going that I'll see my lawn again before Valentines Day. With two feet of snowpack, I'm wondering if it was a stupid bet...
