Eastern Adair county,ok.. Light steady snow to mod at times is falling good. Amost 2 inches now.

Nice! Still nothing where I am in Tulsa, but the radar returns look like they've been getting some a little farther to my south.

Not that I really need any more snow...

It is coming down in Conway, AR right now.

The weather man said there could be a major, major winter storm on Tuesday/Wednesday/

GFS today backed off on that due to a crushing N stream.

GGEM looks like it would be a bit more 'major' but still nothing like this last system.

Euro is in an hour.

I am loving all the snow, but I'm having cabin fever now.

I have heard that from several of the locals here as well. Sure to get worse with this latest quick hitter titter. Not sure what to make of this "southern plains cabin fever" in light of many years in New England, but I guess everything is relative.

One of the traditions we did back there was on the last day of February hold a beach party inside someones house. Seriously, with beach sand, and people wearing swimwear. It was a real morale boost in the seemingly interminable winter to being hanging out with women in bikinis.

That was a drastic upward revision. Earlier they were saying an inch or an inch and a half for tulsa, now they're calling for 4, with a 7 day snowfall total of around 11 inches for Tulsa and 14 inches for the Fayetteville area. That's going to be quite the snowpack for this area, especially if it fails to warm up as much as expected tomorrow and sunday.

Yeah, they were calling for flurries in JLN and now saying 1"-3" I am assuming the Tulsa and Fayetteville totals are because of the anticipated mid-week system?
