NwWhiteOut
No problem man I will certainly post more as the storm goes on. A full coating of sleet here already. Awesome always love to see pics and videos! Priceless though when you got thunder and lightning like that in a winter storm. 28.8 here now and is freezing fog outside. brettjrob
Having experienced Thundersleet and ZR in MO I know what you mean. What's even more interesting is when you add hail to that mix which I've also seen. Steve Definitely had some hail mixed in with the +TSPL a couple hours ago here. Still not a single flake has fallen down here. Interesting to hear that Edmond has already changed over. I'm foreseeing a mind-blowing gradient in final accumulations between Edmond and OUN, as the RUC doesn't really let up on the warm nose here until close to 12z. MoWeatherguy
So at h24 Euro appears very similar to the GFS WRT strength of SLP and position. Maybe just a tad west of GFS.

MoWeatherguy
I would think those Euro totals support a 15-18" swath up the I-44 corridor, dependent upon ratios of course.
SEMIweather
NWS Norman...wowwwww .AVIATION... CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO DETERIORATE RAPIDLY OVERNIGHT AS A WINTER STORM SYSTEM MOVES INTO TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA. MAXIMUM LIFT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL OCCUR BETWEEN 06Z AND 12Z AT MOST SITES... WHICH SHOULD CORRESPOND TO THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL. STRONG NORTH WINDS WILL CAUSE EXTREMELY LOW VISIBILITIES AND CEILINGS IN BLOWING SNOW. THE SNOW SHOULD TAPER OFF TOWARD 1800Z TOMORROW... BUT WINDS WILL CONTINUE... AND CONDITIONS WILL BE MVFR AT THE VERY BEST DURING THE AFTERNOON. WINDS SHOULD SUBSIDE SOMEWHAT AFTER 0000Z TOMORROW EVENING... REDUCING THE BLOWING SNOW... AND RESULTING IN... WE HOPE... VFR OR HIGH-END MVFR CONDITIONS AT MOST SITES. IT APPEARS THE KOKC AND KOUN WILL TAKE THE BRUNT OF THE SNOWFALL... AND THEREFORE THE BLSN. WE HAVE INCLUDED A ZERO VSBY AT KOUN DURING THE EXPECTED HEIGHT OF THE STORM... AS SNOWFALL RATES ARE EXPECTED TO BE EXTREMELY HIGH FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS.
