Ellinwood
It's more of people reciting the same complaints everyday rather than just people complaining. What's worse is it's the same people complaining everyday. Just be quiet if you're not going to substantiate any of your claims/complaints with any realistic, new information (and with actual analysis, not "omg look at what the 00z did to us!!! :( )
Ian
There have been a ton to track that's for sure...January hasn't been horrid compared to many January's of the recent past...again our winter stinks only when we start comparing it to other regions so far....if no internet we would probably think this winter has been decent. dca has .1" less than last jan which was the first in a decade above avg

SLPressure
dca has .1" less than last jan which was the first in a decade above avg Wow! What a little cold air ( or lack of) can do for a winters month. Just a little cold air at the right time would have made a world of difference this year. Of course this year, the cold comes with lack of moisture.

And yet, 2006 surpassed it in its torchness and snowlessness.

WVclimo
Maybe this is causing me to be a bit biased toward this being a nice winter, but here’s my snowfall reports to Cocorahs this season: 11/28 T 12/02 T 12/03 T 12/06 T 12/08 T 12/09 T 12/10 T 12/11 T 12/13 T 12/14 0.1" 12/16 1.4” 12/26 0.1" 01/07 T 01/08 0.9" 01/09 T 01/12 2.0” 01/14 T 01/18 2.3” 01/21 T 01/25 T 01/27 8.3” 01/28 T 01/29 0.7” 01/30 T That's a lot of snowflakes / flurries, but can only happen in a decent winter.
