CoastalWx
Have they cut back on moisture like the op run? I think some good things can come to fruition with Tues/Wed. At least for a lot of folks. I can't see qpf on the ensembles, only probability, and that won't come out for a little while.
dendrite
WOW!!! GIGANTIC FLAKES falling right now. Heavy heavy snow. Obs thread dude.
CoastalWx
Nice run for you guys. Pretty much focuses on SNE for the overrunning on Tue and then the bigger hit for most of us on Wed. Will probably jackpots. It's still got me on my guard. Anything can happen 5 days out, but I'd take it.

hooralph
It's New England's Katrina. Thousands abandon their roof-caved homes and move south, propping up the Florida and Arizona real estate markets.

leesun
I would think there is a greater risk of suppression than taint. I think that's what GYX was getting at in their AFD Euro ensembles came in a little colder with a low track near ACK it seems. It looks like 0C 850 line doesn't get passed canal. Honshu snowbelt) a few years ago when they got something like 20 feet instead of the usual 10......... But they must build their roofs better... Max
Pretty substantial shift on the 18z NAM towards suppression! And yes it is the 18z, but it's a big enough shift to raise some eyebrows I would think!
dendrite
My concerns are that this may end up going under us here with all that confluence above here I'm not sure I'm worried about it getting squashed totally south of us. We may not jackpot, but it should still be a decent hit.
