Absolute Humidity
Salt truck just came by. I guess there's plenty of salt still. Seems like a never ending supply. I remember back in 94 when most all the towns ran out of salt and every road was bright white packed powered. Now people take 2 foot blizzards for granted it seems roads are clear just 1 to 2 days later.
Matt Hammer
Light snow here in Setauket, no accumulation yet...seems to still be enhancing at the coast!
nzucker
Roads were slick during my evening delivery shift. Recorded about .25" here in Dobbs Ferry. Currently -SN/flurries at 30/28.
NJwinter23
You think salt is going to be needed down there bud? Im up north, but i heard pretty much everything is covered? Thanks My neighborhood streets are all coated nicely, plus there is plenty of refreezing going on. Salt would definitely make sense I guess, not sure if it would qualify as "needed" or not. Around 3/4" out there...Gonna call it a night at 0.5".
ict1523
Got a nice fresh coating. Side streets are covered and slippery. Two way side streets, as I found out today, have also gotten so clogged with snow that it is impossible on many for two cars to make it past each other. Had to back out or get into driveways several times today so I could get by. However backing out or pulling into a driveway also risks you getting stuck. Never seen this much snow around here. Quincy
we had about 0.2 inches here yesterday. not a big deal, but it was pretty to see flakes fluttering in the air, basically off and on all day.
