Wow, I had non stop thunderstorms from 6 Am to 3 PM today. Over 5 inches of rain in that period. Wind was blowing too. I never expected anything like this from a weak coastal low. http://www.wundergro...eq_statename=NA

CoCoRaHS reports of over 12.50" inches in Accomac and 8.13" in Newport News. Even a waterspout near the HRBT.

The Newport news airport always seems to be low on the rainfall total. I saw a bunch of low scud that almost looked like they were spinning. Only EF-0s with this type of system.

Hey guys, I feel like invoking some jealousy. I am in Plattsburgh, NY right now and we just got a nice snow shower following a day full of flurries. We have a low temperature of 26 tonight and are under A freeze warning!!!

It's my birthday today too so its even better! Haha

Unfortunately, I will be on my way back to Chesapeake tomorrow morning so back to reality.
