Billabong
Pretty nasty storm moving into Southampton.... 78dbz at the lowest scan (2500 feet). Yikes! Wouldn't be surprised if a few reports came in with golf ball hail.

Coach McGuirk
Wow, I had non stop thunderstorms from 6 Am to 3 PM today. Over 5 inches of rain in that period. Wind was blowing too. I never expected anything like this from a weak coastal low. http://www.wundergro...eq_statename=NA

Coach McGuirk
CoCoRaHS reports of over 12.50" inches in Accomac and 8.13" in Newport News. Even a waterspout near the HRBT. The Newport news airport always seems to be low on the rainfall total. I saw a bunch of low scud that almost looked like they were spinning. Only EF-0s with this type of system. It's my birthday today too so its even better! Haha Unfortunately, I will be on my way back to Chesapeake tomorrow morning so back to reality.
