TheManWithNoFace
I don't see anything like this posted anywhere here, and although the color coding is relative to how I forecasted it, I still think it might be useful to some folks.
TheManWithNoFace
Hmmm seem to be struggling with adding a 1.89mb jpeg file.
mranger48
One things for sure, that "10.6" inch spotter report out of brick from round 2 is def. not right...I measured only 5" new snow from last nights round.

Zelocita Weather
Got it. I thnk you could have used another color for a 12-18" strip in there...
NickD2011
I thnk you could have used another color for a 12-18" strip in there... This is the map of the forecasted amounts vs the actual amounts. It overperformed everywhere.
TheManWithNoFace
This is the map of the forecasted amounts vs the actual amounts. It overperformed everywhere. Yes. Green is a correct forecast. Yellow is off by a little, and I think everyone can figure out what that nasty strip of orange and red along the 95 and 1 corridors means. Am I right that a map like this isn't done by anyone else? I don't want to step on toes, nor do I want to do all the work unnecessarily.
NJwinter23
17.5" northern Holmdel near the Raritan Bay Be mindfull that probably all of the 12-13 inch totals in northeastern NJ are just part 2 totals that dont include the first part with 3-5"..The 17" reports are added up both parts

The NWS trained spotter for my town had 4" at 4:30 PM yesterday and then this mornings report was 10.5". Obviously broken up into 2 parts. Although Wayne is a very large town geographically and it is possible. I measured 16.25 for the total at my location (Avg of 10 measurements). Absolute Humidity
Yes, 17.2 total both parts yet somehow this map has freehold on the pink green line.
sn0w
Yes, 17.2 total both parts yet somehow this map has freehold on the pink green line. The colors have nothing to do with what actually fell...it's what he forecasted.
TheManWithNoFace
I think the reports in NE NJ are valid. Look to OKX's snowfall totals from Orange and Rockland County, and you find all single digit numbers. There was a sharp gradient from 8-10 to 16-18, and I think it was right over northern Passaic county.
