Damage In Tolland
OT - so when is this thing tomorrow? 2:00 until as late as your mom let's you stay
CoastalWx
I don't even consider the cape and island's in the same climate as SNE Same with a good deal of the interior by ski mrg and the sct/swct coastline. Most of the Cape only averages several inches less than BOS.

free_man
What a low blow guys, when you know I only have a 5 post a day limit lol... Maybe this is a plea to dendrite to allow me for more posts? Lesson learned.. plus I've read a lot of posts during the last storm to recognize a stupid post from a good post Reinstate me for CNE juju For the next storm.. if it doesn't work you can "5 a day me" again lol For cne juju dendrite, do it for cne This last storm frankly shocked me/us with 5-6", all the while you were limited to five posts a day, so where is the bad juju? Damage In Tolland
Its like that on most side streets here. The town plow guy got out of his truck yesterday when i was outside..and said they'd come back and try as best they could to widen it..but didn't happen. Fine by me..I feel like we're back in the covered wagon days. Sort of like how MRG feels every day of the year
toller65
Maybe just a finger roll just over the fingertips of Robert Parrish? You are probably too young to remember that. Not me, I remember the Chief taking it to Rambis....
Tropopause_Fold
Yeah absolutely, they aren't that far off from BOS snow climo. especially from HYA west. i don't think the numbers are that different from about BOS-ish right along the immediate south shore out onto the mid-cape. mahk_webstah
Not me, I remember the Chief taking it to Rambis.... BFD, Rambis was half his size. But I'm going to up the ante... Doc head faking Bird, driving down the lane for a windmiller in Parrish's face! But in terms of the weather, this looks like a setup for at least CNE on the next storm but I think not NNE yet, which sucks cuz they need it. How did CNE NNE do in the 93-94 setups? I realize in those setups, the storms come up and reform on the coast but do they keep coming up or do they head out ene? I know Philly iced and iced that season with front end dumps but NYC SNE did very very well.
Ginx snewx
My neighborhood is now a one lane road..2 cars cannot pass each going opposite directions. They tried to widen it but some jerk made a mountain at the end of his driveway and the plows could not move it according to news reports.
TalcottWx
that's dumb. Well, good examples imo is the way the cape has mixed in almost all of the biggies this year. I mean you guys are pretty much a man made island jutting out into the middle of the ocean there is such immense differences versus you ORH, TOL, HFD, BED and even BOS... even if some areas down there are not far off from BOS' totals. I mean you obviously know this already. Sure the cape and islands is in SNE, but the climates can be night and day, any given day.

Sort of like how MRG feels every day of the year Maybe you can ask him to plow some of the neighborhood snow into your driveway so you can stack it. There was a story in Boston on how some lot owner was using his property as an illegal "snow farm". Getting citations for it. You're next

Organizing Low
Man the EC ensembles are pretty cold in the 11-15 day. thats the coldest time of year up here, around feb 10 so it makes sense, its always easy to get people depressed here in mid jan when they say "Well at least we are halfway through winter" i just say 'Well we don't reach the coldest time of the year until the second week of february so we are a long way from half'
