weatherdude888
I dont think people were unprepared.....over a foot of snow in 4 hours is probably going to shut things down. I have a feeling with all the talk of rain, and then even yesterday when the first part fell unexpectedly they were still hawking, 4-8, when almost that amount fell during the morning in some places. But yet, the media's relentless call of rain / mix did not help IMO

Wannabehippie
I am guessing about 18" in astoria based on a look out my front door. Damn glad I moved my car last night to the left hand side of the street. Off to bed! Great night with the best group. I'm guesstimating 17"-19" in the end here. People will be shocked when they wake up.

Noticed it on the radar last night.
