ORH_wxman
Must be the ASH curse. Megan and I drove into ASH on Sunday...their snow banks looked just about as impressive as North Chelmsford, but maybe just a hair less, which I thought was interesting. The difference was only noticeably to a weenie like me. But driving down main street and the other side streets...it was slightly less than N Chelmsford. Still very impressive though. It looked like at least an 18" snow pack on level ground but it might have compacted to lower than that by now 3 days later. weatherwiz
Wind is picking up here quite a bit. Wow. Yeah...I'm wondering if drifting might become an issue.
skierinvermont
It's been mixing with a little bit of sleet the last few min.. no more than 20%. .75" in the last 20 min still holding onto the 2"+/hr rates. 3.75" in the last 1:20 when the megaband started. Wind starting to make it hard to measure.. I'm noticing .5" more in a protected area than in the exposed driveway

H2Otown_WX
It's a crappy feeling when you live in Litchfield County and you see the 40+ dbz stall out just to your south...even here in Danbury it's coming up short it looks like. GFS did an excellent job of depicting the cut-off IMO. Congrats to the coast, what a winter you guys are having.
Clinch Leatherwood
Being a little north of these webcams I'm mainly snow now...still some mix and it waivers, curse of the BOX Warning in full effect along the extreme coast and CC. http://www.capecodlivecam.com/bourne.shtml
ORH_wxman
I think it evens out because there is no doubt that band is being or orographically enhanced a bit near you. Oh I'm not complaining...it gets evened out even more when you throw in a Feb last year or Dec 96...elevation events.

HarveyLeonardFan
This reminds me of the early morning hours of March 6 2001. Still sleet here, its heavy but it's low impact and accumulation is minimal. Temps. are above freezing, there are some rain drops mixed in, and even though the streets and car tops are covered in white the existing snow on the grass is compacting.
