CoastalWx
From 1:30 until 4:00 when I logged on it was a snow fog.. i don't know what time the mega nband started here..but I'm guessing it sat over me a good 3-4 hours? Yeah the heaviest maybe 2 hours, but it was s+ for a while. Does that include yesterday's snow as well?

powderfreak
Thanks. Dude, another congrats is necessary. There is something sort of poetic about the king weenie having the winter of his life... this is the type of thing you dream about all summer when you are on the torch parade. Enjoy every minute of it.
ORH_wxman
This storm will be a good ORH airport test. Its blowing around...they have been low a couple times in moderate eents but in the big ones they have have actually been higher than me so we'll see if they come in over a foot. mahk_webstah
mornin guys! what a night down there! ended up over 4 inches which is fantastic given i expected zilch and there was no accum in my forecast. Jer can't imagine where brookline puts that snow! rumors of a swfe?! Kev, pics of the banks as soon as you shovel please. Ginx need some pics of your destruction as well. Wiz, easy on the back, but if you come to GTG I have some ideas. Pete have a great day of skiing on the fresh. Mike it's all about expectations. Scott, you are steady Eddie, ultimately cancelled my trip which was good cuz I woulda been stuck in Buf. Ray, frikkin awesome! supposed to drive down 93 today to do an errand in Cambridge...looking forward to seeing the amounts jump as I get near and over the NH border. Will hope you are sleeping. Dom, what did you get? Eric and the northers, we are doing well and we will have our moments later this season. Who am I missing? Almost 60 on the season here... Had one of my weird dreams that I have when it is snowing and I am trying to force myself to sleep. I have these really realistic vivid dreams of looking out the window at the snow and usually I look out, it has stopped, I panic and then I wake up. This time I looked out and it was mid summer, the grass was uber green and the garden was in full bloom. I woke up and looked out at 4 inches of snow...lol. CoastalWx
Dude it was a disaster, it had that band over Townsend and Pepperell instead of over you. RUC was spot on with the 700 low pegging CT though you and points east. I don't know what kind of crack that HRRR had, but it was the good stuff...like Bobby Brown style. Radar clearly said that the model was toast.
weatherMA
Holy snow depth. Underestimated before. Deck depth is 34", average in the yard is 28-30". Epic. 12.6" so far...-sn, hoping to push over 13".

Tropopause_Fold
no time to read back through but have to assume there was a massive 10+ zone based on the PNS. we flipped to snow around 1:30AM...was off/on overnight...have to assume some dryslut stuff.. but it's been a complete whiteout up until about 10 minutes ago. i'm eyeballing about 3 or 4". ORH_wxman
Briefly..which model in your mind gets the win..realizing none were great Euro in the non-24h range....it barfed at the end, but it stuck to its guns for a huge CCB with over 0.75" in that CCB....it really caved in the final 2 runs, but it was good in the 36-96h range. RUC in the under 18h range scored the big one...it was all over this.
