nutmegfriar
I'm wondering if KGON will have high enough winds for 3 hours to go along with that 1/4 SM. Seems like a blizzard to me out there. Same thing in Salem?
Kbosch
Radar does look like it wants to start pulling east in western ct, but it also has that pivot look in swct We're definitely 3" per hour. You can't see where I was outside already...no footprints, no sign of shoveling.

metagraphica
Seems like a blizzard to me out there. Same thing in Salem? Yep, near whiteout conditions here. At times can only vaguely make out the front porch light of my neighbor across the street (about 150').

sankaty
Back in the snow fog like 1/12. Flake size is just average, but there are *so many* of them. Looks like 3" hour rates.
OKpowdah
Getting some better snow growth here now. Moderate clip. What a perfect screw zone over Cheshire Co depicted on the BOX map lol. I'm surprised GYX hasn't upgraded Rockingham

TheSnowman
The winter mosaic radar TWC runs during the local forecast is the best in the business. It shows my area of non-snow beautifully. Agree that TWC always has had an Awesome radar. Love watching "On the 8's". It's probably how I got into jazz. My goal in life - HAVE MY Music on the "On the 8's" Just have to call my man Paul Kocin on that.

ORH_wxman
Most intense band is just N of ORH airport...I'm catching southern end of it and its sick...but its gotta be 2-3 inches per hour in Holden and getting up into Princeton MA....absolutely awesome. nearly 40 dbz there. The flakes are amazing. Perfect dendrites...but they are getting blown around so they might get compacted into a cold, dry cement. Hopefully wind stays low enough so that doesn't happen. I'm just finding it funny how EMA is getting absolutely screwed, while places to the west and southwest are getting raked. putrid snowgrowth, still sleet pinging here.
