danstorm
ORH county is getting the pivot point right now...the SPC analysis shows the 5h deformation right over our heads...but it will move east. My 5-9 might bust. But I have probably 5-6" here. We can maybe pick up another 2-4 in the next 2 hours if it stays over us and then I will bust. You're busting, brah. 14" in SW Ct. and SN+ just wants to linger...
weatherwiz
It's 8.3'', Ryan. When I measured at 2:00 AM I read the numbers of the ruler wrong b/c I couldn't really bend down but I did it this time.
BostonWX
Yeah, it's working out pretty well. We're getting taken to the woodshed now. I keep thinking I see flashes outside, but have not heard any rumbles. I heard a small rumble of thunder and I've seen 2 flashes

Clinch Leatherwood
Less than 25 miles ESE barely an inch....And I'm still hearing dripping outside following the heavy, heavy rain. Yeah not going well for a lot of Cape Cod SE MA folks. I got lucky, one nice band rotated overhead but it won't be long. I don't know if the bands to the west make it here in force. It's 230 am you have 1" of snow, what are the chances you end up with warning criteria? The NESIS rating on this storm will be the highest of the season so far given the shellacking DC-BWI, PHL, NYC, and now BOS-PVD-ORH has taken. Pretty nasty. Who said that (Boston-Franconia?) CPICK....wasn't a big deal. Just pointing out it's easy to take a shot at someone when you don't make an affirmative statement one way or the other at the time. --- Been able to stay under a decent band for a bit, plugging away with 1 to 1.5 inch per hour snows. Just dont know if it hangs on, have a bad feeling the bands don't make it into extreme SE MA. Either way with another 2-4" at least down here tonight. ORH_wxman
ur gonna get 3-5 additional inches by 4 am. Talk dirty to me. Why aren;t you in in Atlhole? 40/70 Benchmark
You're busting, brah. 14" in SW Ct. and SN+ just wants to linger... I don't think it will rot over us as long....you guys had better dynamics.
weathafella
Wont make up for it...this is a big nor easter, but not a monster KU storm...this might be a cat 1 KU storm. Tell me how many KU storms were high rated without widespread 20" amounts? I was just trying to figure out NESIS though. Perhaps this one is a good comparison. My mom just called me to tell me well over a foot in Guilford and they are getting crushed in that deformation zone. They could get 20" for the second time in 2 weeks. Pounding SN+ here with 30 plus gusts. I just went out and average is 6" here. Realy blowing and drifting a lot. Quite a scene!

I was texting back and forth tonight with zwyts. We thought maybe a cat 1 KU...but probably not. But it might be. Get me to 15" and then I'll agree with you, lol...even if its not right. I should have actually came up with that number the first time as well..well obviously a few tenths of an inch less but I just screwed up. That would be freaking epic! Has that ever happened before? I got her to accurately measure the big snowstorm 2 weeks ago and they were in the 20s. They're going to have >30" OTG by moring lol.

I did better than JG since I stayed under the heaviest when other areas stopped for a brief while. Now I did, too. Blah. Weak now. This is already the biggest total of the season for me, though.
