A-L-E-X
Folks, there is no way around it: THIS IS OUR SECOND HECS OF THE WINTER. My standards for HECS are 16 inches plus at NYC and it looks like that amount will be met.
Neblizzard
Already this winter is historic who would of thought some areas would see 50-60 inches in a strong La Nina year? It isn't even February yet and with the pattern showing no signs of breaking down, I got a feeling February is going to be nasty.....
nzucker
part 2 sees pretty low, but you got your case i have mine. It could be a little higher, I found some places with over 10" new but I am going to do a more thorough measurement at the end of the night. A lot of variable depths given that it's been gusty at times. I think we're going to end up around 15" for this storm here, very impressive. Radar returns have also been better further south towards the City where you are...the heaviest snow basically has run from CT shoreline to JFK to Jersey City. Snowlover11
11.5 inches here in Morganville, (Marlboro Township, NJ) Monmouth County as of 01:55am and still coming down. Was about to shut it down for the night when all of a sudden a very large branch from one of my large pine trees on side of house came crashing down and landed on front lawn but it appeared to have hit part of my guter as it is now bent. Couldn't see too good in the dark. Will have to re-asse in morning. ouch, good luck. I wouldn't be surprised to see some roof damage reports later today with all this heavy snow. jm1220
Looks like its snowing itself out right on top of us Pretty much. Snow's decreasing little by little outside my window right now but we could tack on another couple of inches or so if this banding keeps up at all. What an incredible night.
