that band over CT and Li and nyc isn't going anywhere.

it will begin to collapse soon, first over western CT, then across other areas. this happens during these events, last minute looks like it may hang on, but then it's like a switch goes off.

NYC officially in with 12.3 on their climate report, so that means they got 8.3 inches from around 910pm to midnight since thats was around the snow changeover occurred...they're at 49.4 for the season....or should I say WERE

and from midnight thru 145Am they had some of their heaviest snow.

they are DEFINITELY over 50"...they are probably close to 12" from this portion of the storm....this winter is COMPLETE and UTTER INSANITY!!!!

never thought seeing 1 ft 3 times in 30 days was a possibility (well at least at my location)

Over.

What an incredible event!!

Although radar is lessening somewhat, the snow is coming down as hard as it has all night.

I can confirm this out by me as well. I don't know maybe reflectivity is lessening as the snow becomes less wet or something but the radar shows lighter echoes but we are still moderate-heavy snow here on the Cliffs of the Palisades.
